Problem Description
Issue
Started having issues with this instance starting for unknown reasons. If I tell it to update and start, it updates, then never attempts to start. If I tell it to start without updating, nothing whatsoever appears in the console, and I don’t have a “Start” button, just “assistance”. Application State seems hung on “Preparing to start”.
I’ve restarted the VM the server is on a few times without success as well. Windows Server 2019.
If disable automatically starting the server, I actually get an error - which is not helpful in the least:
AMP was unable to start the application. Possible causes may include insufficient permissions to load the executable, or the file not being correctly flagged as being an executable file. Check AMPs logs for more information.
Yes, I ran ampinstmgr fixperms
as admin.
Reproduction Steps
- Started instance.
Update:
Somehow my Sandbox_config.sbc file got corrupted. Was able to restore with a donor file.
