Problem Description
Issue
I have pulled the save from my Windows server, via both SFTP and via the browser file manager, renamed it, run the command for file permissions, and for some reason it keeps getting stuck on starting, I’ve nailed it down to some sort of incompatibility between windows/linux being that 2 separate computer save files are having the issue, but I can’t work out how to fix this one.
EDIT - (cannot reply)
Fixed it - You cannot rename a Runescape Wildlands save file apparently, or at least not without changing some meta data ect, so everytime I would rename it and sit in in the folder and point AMP towards it, it would obviously get stuck because it was looking for the wrong file and then trying to create a file that already exists.
Reproduction Steps
- Copy save file from windows machine
- Upload to correct folder in AMP
- Rename file to match what AMP is looking for
- Start server - gets stuck starting, claims save file doesn’t exist
