Startup Issue with Palworld - Network Ports wont connect or server wont start up

Problem Description

Issue

My server wont start, been trying to get the palworld server set up and i cant get the server to start.

Reproduction Steps

  • I updated the server and reviewed the errors
  • I restarted both the server and host site and i get the same error.
  • I made a new server and settings and errors still happen.

API error. Ports wont change from red to green. Cant start server

Hi you need insatll steam CMD on ya server them should show all green
also run update as well

The method to starting up any server that works best for me is:

1: install instance (Be sure its set to do nothing after install)
2: Configure the instance/games settings to how you want them.
3: Run the update FIRST so AMP can fetch/install the games files.
4: After the initial update/install, THEN click on start.

This method has worked the best for me in every instance I have tried, and as always, your milage may very.
