Issue

when downloading and installing at part 7 of 9 the install jumps back up 5 and then stops installing the server insance.

Reproduction Steps

  • i click on the RC2 install
  • the installer starts installing
  • when downloading and installing at part 7 of 9 the install jumps back up 5 and then stops installing the server insance.

I had this same issue. Each attempt failed at 7 of 9 steps. It would validate RCT1 and 2 files, quit, validate again and just stop. I solved it by going into the configuration within the instance, choosing “SteamCMD and Updates”, and changing the Server Release Version to the latest in the GitHub repo, which at this time is 0.4.10, where mine was set to 0.4.6. I suspect the module config on Amp’s side is using that outdated version, as 0.4.6 came out in September of 2023 and 0.4.10 was 2 weeks ago.
