Problem Description

Issue

After installation, a window with messages appears at the bottom that says “Starting Miscreated,” but nothing happens. There are also no errors visible in the logs.

Reproduction Steps
--
 * created a new instance
 * I chose the game Miscreate
 * Everything was installed automatically without any errors

After the install/update, you need to go back to the instance screen and start the server:

Thanks for the reply. The problem is that it won’t start. I’m not getting any error messages, not even in the logs.

I noticed when I installed Miscreated with the default template it was really laggy. You might try loading Greelan’s template instead. It is under the overall AMP configuration, add his github and do a template update to load them.

Then you can set up a new instance using his Miscreated template. It seemed much better, so I am not sure what is wrong with the base one.

Thanks for the quick response.
I’ve now set up two Git sources. When creating a miscreated instance, how can I choose which source it should use?
Or do I have to delete the other one?

Don’t delete the other… it is the main amp one.

When you create an instance from the main menu and are picking the game, pick the one named Greelan/Miscreated. Both repositories are shown in the list.
