Startup Issue with Minecraft - Updating Instances

Problem Description

Issue

I updated the instance and its been on installing components for a couple hours and I dont know if I should “abort” or if there’s something else I could do to fix it.

Reproduction Steps

  • pressed update instance
  • pressed shutdown and update
  • left it for a couple hours now

Please let me know if there’s more information I can give to make this easier to trouble shoot.

stop/start the instance from the main panel and see if that kicks it over

unfortunately it didn’t seem to do anything. still stuck on installing.

Change the startup mode setting to Do Nothing, search bar in the upper right after managing an instance.
Then once that’s set, stop/start things again and that should get it unstuck
