Problem Description

Issue

Instance will fail to fully ‘stop’ when restarting and thus will not start back up.
This was working before AMP update 2.4.5

Reproduction Steps

  • Setup a minecraft forge 1.16 instance with some mods
  • Create a scheduled restart task
  • Wait for scheduled restart

This is a bug in Forge itself. After being told to stop, it just sits there and the process stalls and never exits. I’ve implemented a timeout (default 60s) for buggy servers for the next update.

Is this timeout configurable? On our servers which see higher traffic a world save could easily take more than a minute

Yes it is. By default it’s 60 seconds.
