Problem Description

Issue

When trying to start the server its telling me Unable to run. It says Not Listening block Game Port 25565 Both. Im attempting to run a minecraft server. I wanted to do a RLCraft Dregora server. Does it have to do with the fact that i changed the world type to OTG? I also set the level name to DregoraRL, but this is because the server pack had a list of items to change to ensure it all populates correctly. Was i supposed to do this after running it?

Reproduction Steps

  • Set up minecraft world in configuration
  • Went to status and clicked start
  • Ensured Ubuntu server machine is up and running to make sure its not a server issue

To listen on the port, the server needs to start. You’ll need to read what the console says, as that’ll tell you why it won’t start.
Assuming you’re talking about 1.12.2, you need to select Java 8 under Java and Memory
