Problem Description

Issue

I was just playing in the minecraft server then it suddenly stopped and then its like this.

Reproduction Steps

  • The server just suddenly stopped and restarted but it hasnt been starting
  • I pressed abort and start again then it won’t start
  • Did the same thing and now its still stuck at starting

Your best bet is to read through the log to see what could be going wrong there

when it runs normally it keeps saying can’t keep up even though there is 2 more gb of ram,
but it usually works normal even if it says that

“Can’t keep up” is caused by a lack of resources (CPU, Disk IO, Ram).
But like you said it’s usually fine till the TPS drops too much.
Best I can suggest is:

  • check that your render distance is reasonable (between 8-12).
  • use the Spark plugin/mod to diagnose the source of the TPS issues.

If you think it’s a hardware issue, contact your provider, that wouldn’t be an AMP issue.
