Startup Issue with Minecraft - Server keeps starting forever

Problem Description

Issue

I changed some attributes in the config file of the puffish skill tree mod in order to balance it, however, while the server was restarting in order to apply the changes, I remembered I need to change one attribete more, so I did it and saved the changes of the file while the server was still restarting, I waited a bit to see if I would need to restart again when it loads to apply the new change, but it never loaded, so I aborted it and treied to start again, now the server does not start again

Reproduction Steps

  • Change config file of a mod, no mistakes made while doing it
  • Click to restart the server
  • While starting, remember something that I forgot to do in the config
  • Do it and save while it still is restarting
  • Does not load anymore, try aborting and starting again
  • Server does not start anymore

You’ll want to read the console to see if there’s any human-input required after those config changes, and that you check the log to see if there’s any errors.
