Problem Description

Issue

For the past couple months, every couple weeks the server completely shuts down, usually at about 12am GMT. When the server shuts down I get no notifications and it doesn’t allow me to start the server back up. This time no one was online so it couldn’t have been anything on the game crashing the server. Why is it doing this?

Reproduction Steps

  • Reviewed the crash logs and changed some of the code
  • updated the AMP version
  • researched on the internet for any fix
  • Restricted the server borders
  • Asked my player base what they were doing

Do you mean you’re unable to start the Minecraft server, or your actual VPS?

No, I’ve run this server for a couple months now, but every now and again the server just stops and it can’t be run until I boot back up an old version of the server and put in all the worlds files and plugins
