Problem Description

Issue

Midway through trying to launch the server, my cpu usage drops to 0 and any of the functions in the console cease. I am unsure why this is happening. Everything was working perfectly fine a few days ago just launch and go. even restarting the pc has not changed anything. nor do i think i have changed anything configuration wise that would halt the process, other than updating amp when prompted to, but i wouldn’t think that has much to do about server launch

Reproduction Steps

  • First i make sure amp is running
  • then i go to manage my instance
  • after launching, i wait a few minutes to see if it completes.
  • then it always stops in the same spot

I’d suggest checking the logs to see if there’s something going on.

parsed through the log and got this which seems to be the hang up, which i guess is probably different than stalling.

It tells you how to fix the problem there, you’d add the --safeMode startup argument.
Be sure to take a backup however
