Problem Description

Issue

The server works when run on forge 1.12.2 and can be run and joined as normal, but when some mods are installed(the betweenlands, betweenlands redstone, betweenlands storage, dynamic trees, dynamic trees- the betweenlands, the betweenlands: eternal melodies, the betweenlands inventory pack) the server does not start and gives the error shown above. No sure if it’s a problem with the mods themselves, or the way they are being put into the server. All of the mods are compatible with each other and run on the forge and Minecraft version used by the server, and all mods were downloaded from curseforge.

Reproduction Steps

  • set instance to minecraft java and mod loader to forge 14.23.5.2859(1.12.2)- server works with these settings
  • update and load minecraft 1.12, ran server- server still worked
  • add multiple .jar files, namely betweenlands mod into a mods folder in file manager
  • update server and run, and server crashes with the error “The state engine was in incorrect state CONSTRUCTING and forced into state SERVER_STOPPED. Errors may have been discarded.”

After adding new mods you’ll want to delete the world folder to prevent things from loading weird.
Beyond that, you’ll want to read the log to see what errors caused the issue.

i deleted the world and created a new one using the same method and it worked, something with the world generation and adding mods later screwed it up
