Problem Description
The server cant handle more than a few people online at once. It is a hostinger server and im starting to wonder if I need to upgrade.
Issue
Neither the CPU or RAM is throttling, so I have no explanation for why this is happening. Im using geyser and floodgate on the server currently with about 3-4 active players online. This is enough to make the server crash. I would like to know if I simply need to upgrade the server or if it can be fixed somehow. At least it surprises me how bad the quality of the server is.
Reproduction Steps
- I have stripped the server of all non-essential mods.
- I have pre-generated the map using chunky to prevent players loading chunks from being the cause of the issue.
- I have monitored the server for lag spikes with 2-3 player online, and confirmed the server still crashes, although there is no major lag spike.
