Problem Description

Issue

After a AMP update, Minecraft version called “NeoForge” have no version fetch. Owever, other Minecraft version like Paper have a version fetched. So with no version from NeoForge, i can’t start the instance.

Reproduction Steps

  • Stop Minecraft Instance
  • Update AMP instance
  • Start Minecraft instance

I have the same problem after the latest update. The version list of NeoForge is empty and I can’t start a Minecraft server that runs with NeoForge.

Surprisingly, I have another instance with NeoForge, up to date, with no problem selecting a NeoForge version:

I tried to change the Minecraft Server Type but no change.

I have the same issue you did a better job of explaining it than i did i hope it gets resolved soon.

I have fixed it. In the main folder of the instance there is a file called NeoForgeVersionManifest.xml which is empty after the last update. I created a new instance and replaced the file from the old instance with the file from the new instance.

Easier way is to delete the file and restart the instance

Yes, I also saw later in the Discord that it would have been enough to delete the file.

you and @silverseppel are both life savers

I’m unable to find the file. Where is it?

Deleting and restarting also fixed the issue I was having, thank you!
