Problem Description

Issue

I am writing to report an issue I’ve encountered while trying to run a Minecraft server with the “Prominance II” modpack installed.

After successfully installing the modpack, I attempted to launch the server, but it fails to start properly. The server either crashes on startup or becomes unresponsive shortly after initializing. I’ve confirmed that the modpack version matches between the client and server, and I’ve ensured all dependencies are correctly installed. However, the issue persists regardless of any troubleshooting steps I’ve taken (including adjusting RAM allocation, checking Java versions, and verifying mod files).

This issue is preventing me and others from playing on the server with the modpack, which is frustrating considering the time spent setting everything up. I would appreciate it if you could look into compatibility issues with Prominance II or provide any configuration guidance needed to run it on a server without crashes.

Reproduction Steps

  • create a minecraft server
  • upload prominence II mod
  • add forge or fabric
  • change the version to the one matching the mod
  • run the server
  • now the server either crashes
  • or it says it lost connection to amp
  • or it runs for a couple of minutes before crashing

This isn’t an AMP issue (Also, don’t make threats, you’ll win no friends doing that), but have you actually checked what the logs say to see if they give any clue as to the problem?
