Problem Description

Issue

com.google.gson.JsonParseException: com.google.gson.stream.MalformedJsonException

Reproduction Steps

  • Clicked on Status, clicked Start, clicked accept EULA, instance stops within 5 seconds
  • clicked start
  • clicked accept eula
  • clicked view connection

We just helped someone in discord with a similar issue. If that wasn’t you I’d recommend:
If this is a fresh MC instance, delete all the server files, then hit Download/Update
Otherwise if this is an established server, take a backup, then delete the server’s JSON files one at a time till the server starts.
