Problem Description

Issue

Just trying to make a modded server to play on minecraft 26.1.2

Reproduction Steps

  • Create Server
  • Configure it to use java 25 and neforge 26.1.2.31
  • update server
  • start server
  • Server Error - java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: net/neoforged/fml/startup/Server has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 69.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 65.0
  • Update Again still fails
