Problem Description

Issue

I Copied the Old server i Have From the FTP and Pasted it into this server Files so that My server wouldn’t lose any Progress for its Players and it will Not start
this is what is hows on Console:
Exception in thread “main” java.lang.IllegalAccessError: class cpw.mods.modlauncher.SecureJarHandler (in unnamed module @0xb121a86) cannot access class sun.security.util.ManifestEntryVerifier (in module java.base) because module java.base does not export sun.security.util to unnamed module @0xb121a86

Reproduction Steps

  • Copied Server files from old server
  • Pasted Server Files to New server Here to Prevent loss Of Data
  • Attempted to Start Server and Error Message Occured
  • and Now Contacting The Amazing Support Hoping They Are able to help Asap <3

Just to note, we aren’t Hostinger.
Though it just looks like you’re running the wrong Java version. You need Java 17 for anything 1.17 and higher, and Java 8 usually works fine for the rest (though sometimes 1.16.5 needs Java 11)
