Problem Description

Issue

When attempting to start my Modded Minecraft server, it does not detect the forge installer jar present. I cannot select any Forge version. When I try to use the detect/update button, it says it cannot reach the website and to manually install the server files. I am unsure how that differs from manually uploading the jar file, which I did. I even edited the server.properties file to match the jar file’s version, to which it still did not successfully detect or launch.

Reproduction Steps

  • Start instance
  • Start Minecraft server
  • Endlessly preparing to start
  • Search/Update Forge server files

Don’t edit the server.properties file manually, as AMP overwrites it, use the settings under ConfigurationServer Settings instead.

For Forge 1.18+ make sure to leave the server Jar as [Autoselect], as those versions don’t have actual sever Jars, which AMP has a workaround for.
