Problem Description

Issue

Error: LinkageError occurred while loading main class net.minecraft.bundler.Main
java.lang.UnsupportedClassVersionError: net/minecraft/bundler/Main has been compiled by a more recent version of the Java Runtime (class file version 65.0), this version of the Java Runtime only recognizes class file versions up to 61.0

Reproduction Steps

  • Start Server
  • Start server
  • Update Server

you need java 21 for what the error is saying. if this is old instance. you will need to go to the main part of the panel and stop the instance first and then press update and press “I have taken a backup” and then that will update the docker to get the latest java container and then start it back up and go to Configuration > Java and Memory and then select Java 21 in the Java Version box and you should be good to go
