Startup Issue with Minecraft - Certain vorge version i need isnt working

Problem Description

Issue

Server wont run when i use the Forge version that the mods are supposed to be run on, but will run when i update to the newest version of minecraft. Tried using ViaVersion/ViaBackwards plugins to get around this issue but the plugins them selves are not doing anything. If i try joining i still get the invalid version text when i join the server. I am trying to run the server on MC version 1.20.1 Forge version 47.3.10

Version that for some reason works → Newest version of MC

Version I NEED to work MC 1.20.1 Forge 47.3.10

Reproduction Steps

  • set server to 1.20.1 forge version 47.3.10
  • start server
  • takes forever and then crashes with walls of red text in the console

Plugins don’t run on Forge.
Your best bet is to read the log to know what happened.
Also double check that the Jar is set to Autoselect and not the vanilla Jar in the server directory.
