Problem Description

Issue

we noticed permission problems and have deleted the files in config folder to have server recreate them (seems to have helped).
also ran the fix permission command for amp
This is a fresh Windows 2022 data server install. made amp username with admin perms.
we can get this running under mcserversoft but not under amp. these are the last few lines of our log.

Reproduction Steps

  • setup mc instance
  • setup and run fabric to get files and folders in place
  • copied PRominence 2 mods files over to server folder.

Make sure you do any and all file edits over SFTP, as otherwise you will run into permission issues. (some of which can be fixed by running ampinstmgr fixperms in CMD)
I’d suggest running that, then give things another go.
Please upload the full logs/latest.log here, as log snippets aren’t that useful by themselves.

So with him running the system under the same user that AMP is setup with, on the same machine?

As this is his own server running in his location, we were tired last night and might not have clarified that.

Yeah he’d run that command on the AMP machine to resolve any potential file permissions voodoo
