Issue

stuck on preparing to start, Network Port Status No port information available.

Reproduction Steps

• stuck on preparing to start
• restart instance and it starts up
• once starting up it jsut says preparing to start and doesnt change…

I have this issue as well. Updating the instance did not solve it.

Try as root:

bash -c 'echo "vm.max_map_count = 16777216" > /etc/sysctl.d/20-max_map_count.conf && sysctl --system'

Unfortunately that did not do anything.
