Problem Description
Issue
Attempting to start a new Enshrouded server, it fails instantly after server install. Updated to latest AMP version, rebooted and tried updating plus starting, still failing.
Reproduction Steps
- Create new instance
- Update and install
- Attempt to start
Replying so that further information can be added by the OP
Alpine Linux is similar to Rocky Linux. I searched for additional issues on Discord and came up empty handed on possible solutions.
Stopped and restarted the instance. Attempted to start the game server. Debug logs below.

Also, are you running this in Proxmox? If so, set the CPU mode of the VM to host
This is running as Unraid VM.

Maybe it’s an issue with Proton and the fact that Alpine doesn’t use glibc
Is this something that can be fixed or should I switch to another distribution?
Edit: This is AlmaLinux and I have validated that glibc is installed and rebooted.
