Problem Description

Issue

It installs Proton GE, Then Says its Booted up. But Not Allowing to connect

Reproduction Steps

  • Start a New Instance for Astroneer
  • Boot the new Instance
  • Try too connect but doesnt work

So is the issue “not booting up” or “not allowing to connect”?

Two very different issues…

You have to use your server’s public IP in the Astroneer client to connect. Which means you need NAT hairpin/loopback enabled on your router if home hosting, or be connected to a VPN
