Problem Description
Issue
Arma Reforger - Freedom Fighters Custom Mission. Server has been operating on the same mod-list, scenario and AMP schedule structure for over a month, and has been stable. We recently performed an AMP Update to this Server Instance, noting the time this occured was also around the time we noticed the first occurance of this problem (could be unrelated, but worth mentioning). After this point, unknown reason otherwise, the server has been crashing on boot. Interestingly, after troubleshooting steps have proven ineffective, we removed all mods and reverted to a vanilla mission to eliminate the possibility of a conflicting mod / scenario. However, even after reverting to vanilla - the server still won’t boot, for the same reason. We rebuilt the instance from ‘scratch’ and it was able to boot successfully (and stable) for a range of different players, across different platforms. However, after the scheduled restart occurred, it refused to boot again (even on a brand-new instance). Unable to determine root cause, your support on this matter would be appreciated - thank you.
Reproduction Steps
- Restart Game Instance
- Restart Server (Hardware)
- Update Game Instance (Through AMP) (Up to Date)
- Update Instance (Through Shell) (‘ampinstmgr upgradeall’) (Up to Date)
- Verify Server (Hardware, Docker, Linux, etc.) (Up to Date)
- Verify Network Configuration (All Correct)
- Restore From AMP Backup (No Change)
- Backup, then Delete .save and .db Repository, Allowing Server to Rebuild Save From ‘Scratch’ (No Change)
- Delete Addons Folder, Allowing Server to Re-Download From ‘Scratch’ (No Change)
- Disable All Mods, and Revert to Vanilla Mission (No Change) (Still Does Not Boot)
- Start another Arma Reforger Instance, and Replicate Addons and Mission Based on Same Parameters as First Instance (WORKS) (Crashes Again After Scheduled Restart)
- Review Logs Again (Human and AI Review)
- Disable ‘Freeze Check Period’ (AI Suggestion) (No Change)
- Disable ‘Load Session Save’ (No Change)
