Problem Description

Issue

Disabled Battleye in the AMP_server.cfg. I saved the config and tried to start the server and it no longer starts, it hangs in the ‘Starting Arma3…’ state.

Re-enabling Battleye in AMP_server.cfg, ensures the server boots. Im not interested in having Rcon nor Battleye enabled, because I aim to host a small locked server for myself and my friends.

Reproduction Steps

  • File manager
  • Disabled Battleye in Amp.Settings
  • Saved and started server

Further testing.
The server does boot, found a post that says it doesn’t inform you when the server is started.

AMP relies on connecting to RCON to know the server has started. AMP needs RCON for console output/input
