Startup Issue with ARK: Survival Evolved - Server not starting up

Problem Description

Issue

It’s just starting up indefinitely. Waited an hour made no progress tried aborting and starting it up again did it for 5 mins then said it failed then tried again and it’s starting up indefinitely again.

Reproduction Steps

  • Go to the instance
  • The instance is fresh first time setting up aberration map
  • Start the instance

For ARK:SE, this is normal. It can take an obnoxiously long time to start the very first time. Several hours is not unusual.

It was unusual because it was failing after a while and I fixed it by just deleting the entire instance and remaking it. After doing that only took 15 mins to start up.
