Startup Issue with ARK: Survival Ascended - The server is stuck saying starting

Problem Description

Issue

My main concern is if progress will save on the server. The server is stuck saying its “starting” even though it is technically started. I am able to connect to it through ark and play. I am scared to now stop the server because it says abort and not stop, will it save my progress if i abort it?

Reproduction Steps

  • Click Start
  • waited 10 mins
  • Clicked Abort
  • Repeated multiple times to make sure its not a flaw

can i ask how did you get your server to show in the game server list

Hopped on ark unofficial tab, tick the “show player servers” and searched my server name in the top right.
