Reproduction Steps

  • Install ubuntu 24.04
  • Install AMP
  • Create a ASA server
  • ASA server fails to start with the below error

This points to a connectivity issue. Steam can’t talk to it’s content servers. Have you tried again since your original post?

I just tried again and it didn’t work…

Then I noticed there was a pending AMP update so I ran that and tried again and now it works, so whatever the issue was apparently got fixed in the new release.

Before this though I did manually verified that the machine itself was able to talk to Steams content servers (as I had seen a similar reply before).

Aye updating is always a good move. Glad it’s working for you!
