Problem Description

Issue

hello. trying to open a space engineers sever on port 27016, its default and keep throwing the error: Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted

ive tryed to locate what is using the port on the box itself and can locate nothing.
i must admit i know next to nothing about this and all my information is coming from google.

Reproduction Steps

  • create space engineers profile
  • attempt to start the sever
  • cry becuase its the same error every time ((Only one usage of each socket address (protocol/network address/port) is normally permitted)

Provide full logs from the server, not one line snippets with no context

i just ended up having to kill it, anything more and it just loops forever

Nothing shown in netstat -aon | findstr "27016" ?

not at all, it doesnt even show like an error for there being anything.
and ive made sure the ports are open in the firewall setting

ive also looked over the settings without the locate
