Startup Issue with Abiotic Factor - Can't start or update Abiotic Factor since updates

Problem Description

Issue

I updated my AMP server last week, and I haven’t been able to start or update abiotic factor since.
I thought that the update to 2.7.2.4 today might help, but it seems to still be doing the same thing.

If I try to just start it, it just loads forever and doesn’t start.

If I try to update it eventually times out and I get this error:

"This task could not be completed: Running Update Tasks - - State: 3.

Failed to request app info update, not online or not logged in to Steam."

Reproduction Steps

  • updated amp to 2.7.2.2
  • tried to update abiotic factor instance
  • third step, won’t take my entries

I am having the same issue. I thought it was because I was running it through the unofficial Unraid app, but I just installed Amp on a VM and I am getting the same issue. In my case though I didn’t have an Abiotic Factor server running before, this is a new server I wanted to spin up.

I am running AMP on an Ubuntu server, so might be a big different than your unraid system.

I ended up needing to update AMP server to latest and also had to update my Ubuntu system. I did a full system uodate, but I’m pretty sure docker just had to be updated. So maybe check into updating docker on your system.
