Problem Description:
I’ve described the issue in Discord (Discord) but it’s really bad now so I figured it I posted here, maybe it would get some attention.
My server has been failing to restart after the daily restart on many occasions, but not every time. I’ve switched from using a Rust plugin (Smooth Restarter) to restart the server to using AMP’s scheduled tasks. I stop the server, wait 2 minutes and start the server. Below is the crash information from my instance log. Once I start the server manually, it starts up without an issue. The issue only arises when AMP starts the server automatically/on a schedule.
I tried pasting the crash log in here, but it’s too many lines and I can not attach it to this message. The log is in Discord.
Steps to reproduce:
- Stop the server with a scheduled task
- Wait 2 minutes
- Start the server with a scheduled task
Actions taken to resolve so far: Switched from Smooth Restarter (plugin for Rust) to AMP’s scheduler.
