OS Name/Version:
Windows 11 pro (10.0.26100 build 26100)

Problem Description:
Looking for a guide on how to mod a minecraft server as i can’t connect to just the basic forge world. Can create a local world but cannot connect to the server even with no mods installed.

Error
Internal Exception: java.net.SocketException: Connection reset

Steps to reproduce:

  • Step 1
    Using forge: 1.19.2-forge-43.4.16

  • Step 2
    Amp setting:
    Server type: Forge
    Forge version: 43.4.16(mc 1.19.2)

  • Step 3
    No mods installed on server and local pc.

Actions taken to resolve so far:
tried to change to different version of forge but same error.

If you’re connecting from the same computer, you might have to put in localhost instead of 0.0.0.0 or the local IP.
Forge is a bit odd with same-machine connections
