Starting server

Problem Description

Issue

Since the AMP update the server does not start and there is no longer any server start button, only an assistance button.

I was able to press the start button once and it gave me this message :

Could not complete action.
AMP was unable to start the application. Possible causes may include insufficient permissions to load the executable, or the file not being correctly flagged as being an executable file. Check AMPs logs for more information.

Reproduction Steps

  • AMP Update
  • nothing else
  • Unable to start instance

The state of the instance is PreStart. That’s why you don’t see the buttons. Stop the instance and start it again to be at a clear state again. Check the logs to see why the server couldn’t start.
