Problem Description: Adding admin manually will either crash or ignore

If you're sharing console output, logs, or commands you have run, please make sure to use code tags

Steps to reproduce:

  • Create Space Engineers server
  • Attempt to add admin via file manager

Actions taken to resolve so far: Manually add admin to server, run the dedicatedserver.exe within the files to set admin (Will create separate world with correct admin)

Note: I have attempted with both steam64 ID and my actual username

You don’t do it via the file manager. You do it via the configuration in AMP itself.

I have searched like 10 times for the admin option to no avail. Would you happen to know what tab its under?

It is done through the file on SE. AMP doesn’t have a way to handle it through the menu. The way you edit the file matters with XML format. Share the file you made and it can be reviewed.
