Problem Description

Issue

satisfactory uses SMM (satisfactory mod manager) for adding mods to game client and game servers using ftp or sftp. this used to work for a wile and then stopped working a while ago it would connect and start the file transfer and then go to 0 kbps and hang there until i ended the program. i have also tried to add the mod files manually to the instance but with no luck i was able to connect but again during file transfer it would end suddenly with (server sent command exit status 0) i tried reconnecting and i am able to get the files on the server eventually after trying to reconnect a dozen times but it seems like its not getting all the info from the files it breaks the install and the game server will not start.

Reproduction Steps

  • tried recreating instance
  • used different port for sftp
  • tried using winSCP to add files manually
  • reinstalled amp

Known issue, might be fixed in the next release

Do we have an ETA on a fix for this issue yet?

It was fixed on September 26th. Make sure you’re on the latest version of AMP.

I have completely reinstalled amp on a fresh install of Ubuntu server and I’m still having the same issue

Just an update it seems to work some what.

Satisfactory mod manager still dose not work correctly when trying to install mods to the server. But it lose seem to work manually adding each mod individually using winscp
