Is this a brand new server? It’s normal for Rust to take an obnoxiously long time to start the first time. Up to an hour, sometimes more.

Simply leave it for an hour or so and come back to it.

Rust Dedicated servers usually take about 15-20 minutes to boot depending on how large the server map is, the default map size is 3K for procedural. Other factors include how fast CPU is, available system RAM, and speed of storage, it’s generally recommended to run on SSD or NVME for fastest load times.
