Restore Instance On A New Server From Backup Of Old Server

OS Name/Version: Linux Mint 22 (Wilma)

Product Name/Version: AMP 2.5.0.12

Problem Description: I have a functioning version of AMP running on Linux Mint. I have now built a new server and would like to transfer that instance to the new server. I would like it to be smooth in that we can just jump back into Valheim with minimum drama.
I’ve made backups but I, for the life of me can’t figure out how to move a backup to a new system. The new system is the same version of Linux Mint and on the same network. It’s simply got better and more modern hardware.
I’ve scoured the internet for weeks and can’t figure out how to do it. Any time I’ve succeeded at moving a backup (that alone is a monumental chore) I’m unable to open the backup even though it appears to be a zip file.
What I’m looking for is step-by-step instructions, preferably drama-free and without the arcane references. I need specifics. Click this, do that, etc.
Getting an instance running was pretty easy, finding how to move an instance seems impossible.
It would be great if it is super-simple and I’m just overlooking the obvious. I’m OK with that, I’ll own it.
Thank you,
Frustrated…

Actions taken to resolve so far: Scoured the web for simple instructions. I’ve not found any instructions. I’ve got tons of backups, but I can’t do anything with them.
