Problem Description:
After formatting my server and reinstalling AMP, I’m unable to reuse my license key. AMP reports that the key is already in use.
However, I no longer have access to the previous installation and there’s no option to unlink the old activation from my CubeCoders account panel.
I need to reset or unlink the license from the previous server so I can activate AMP again on the new installation.
Steps to reproduce:
- Format server and install fresh Ubuntu
- Reinstall AMP using official installer (
ampinstmgr) - Attempt to activate AMP using previously purchased license key
- Error: license already in use
Actions taken to resolve so far:
- Logged into CubeCoders account and reviewed license usage
- Verified that 1/15 licenses are in use
- Confirmed there is no “Unlink” or “Remove” option available
- Tried using the same instance name as before – still fails
- Now contacting support to request a reset of the license usage
