Question about AMP with Minecraft Java Paper 1.19.2 Aikar Flags

Aikar flags seen here Aikar's Flags | PaperMC Documentation. we are currently running AMP 2.4.0.4 set to 14336mb of ram. Paper recommends this startup argument for anything over 12gb of ram

java -Xms14G -Xmx14G -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:+ParallelRefProcEnabled -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=200 -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+DisableExplicitGC -XX:+AlwaysPreTouch -XX:G1NewSizePercent=40 -XX:G1MaxNewSizePercent=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=16M -XX:G1ReservePercent=15 -XX:G1HeapWastePercent=5 -XX:G1MixedGCCountTarget=4 -XX:InitiatingHeapOccupancyPercent=20 -XX:G1MixedGCLiveThresholdPercent=90 -XX:G1RSetUpdatingPauseTimePercent=5 -XX:SurvivorRatio=32 -XX:+PerfDisableSharedMem -XX:MaxTenuringThreshold=1 -Dusing.aikars.flags=https://mcflags.emc.gs -Daikars.new.flags=true -jar paper.jar --nogui

Do I just copy/past that into the custom startup argument (with custom server type) for 14gb of ram? Wanted to check here before changing anything. Thank you!

Thanks Ashlyne! So no need to change server type from Paper to Custom?

None at all, Custom mode isn’t needed 99% of the time.

AMP reads that it’s using tons of ram. Essentials command reads 10gb+ free. Runs mint but that panel readout is terrifying lol. Also the Java argument in the original post would not work. Had to remove “java” from the start and “-jar paper.jar --nogui” from the end. Here is the current setup.

-Xms14G -Xmx14G -XX:+UseG1GC -XX:+ParallelRefProcEnabled -XX:MaxGCPauseMillis=200 -XX:+UnlockExperimentalVMOptions -XX:+DisableExplicitGC -XX:+AlwaysPreTouch -XX:G1NewSizePercent=40 -XX:G1MaxNewSizePercent=50 -XX:G1HeapRegionSize=16M -XX:G1ReservePercent=15 -XX:G1HeapWastePercent=5 -XX:G1MixedGCCountTarget=4 -XX:InitiatingHeapOccupancyPercent=20 -XX:G1MixedGCLiveThresholdPercent=90 -XX:G1RSetUpdatingPauseTimePercent=5 -XX:SurvivorRatio=32 -XX:+PerfDisableSharedMem -XX:MaxTenuringThreshold=1 -Dusing.aikars.flags=https://mcflags.emc.gs -Daikars.new.flags=true
