How do i get the Active Users to refresh? I can log into the game, and checking the logs, I can see myself joining. I tried logging in on both local ip and public ip, both did not refresh the number of users.

LOG : General f:3626 st:5,957,798> Steam client 76561198066065275 is initiating a connection.
LOG : Network f:3626 st:5,959,208> Connected new client 135108006499072033 ID # 0

This instance is newly created and no mods were installed.

Reproduction Steps

  • Login to Project Zomboid server
  • Check the console for players joining
  • Verify the number of active users

I have the same issue and ran into it in Build 42.19.0 unstable as well. I posted about it in GitHub and in the Project Zomboid forums, both were unresolved. Hoping to see solutions to this.

The Project Zomboid team has responded to me in a thread I created in their Discord:

The server will have a “connections” log file that shows the players username, removing them from the stdout was an intentional change and isn’t a bug. I would instead suggest going to the Suggestions forum and making a post there if this is something you would like to see changed.

Thanks for the update! I’m fairly new to both AMP and Linux so I thought I made a mistake somewhere. Does that mean the Active User tracker will not be working anytime soon?
