Path of Titans - Port 7783 is already in use

Product Name/Version: Phobos 2.6.2.4 - 20250724.1

Problem Description:
When attempting to create a Path of Titans server I receive this error.

"This task could not be completed: Create instance - Path of Titans - State: 3.

Port 7783 is already in use, but initially wasn’t. You can address this by trying again or adding an extra port range. Search “Application Port Ranges” in the top right of AMP."

I do not have any applications (that I know of) using this port range.

Looking at the log it appears to be expanded a bit

Steps to reproduce:

Create Instance
Choose Path of Titans
Error pops up.

Actions taken to resolve so far:

I have run

ampinstmgr ShowAllInstancePorts

to try and show instance ports. All I receive is

“[Info/1] AMP Instance Manager v2.6.0.10 built 30/01/2025 02:36
[Info/1] Stream: Mainline / Release - built by CUBECODERS/buildbot on CCL-DEV”

I tried deleting all port ranges, setting a new port range, resetting ADS with no change in response from the UI

As root:

getamp update

Didn’t realize that updating from the UI did not also update the instance manager… however upon running the command I am now showing

However, I am still getting the same error when trying to setup a Path of Titans server.

Try a reboot of the system and clear browser cache

What actually is your application port range?

1024:65535

I tried changing it to like 7780 to 7787 and nothing… Tried deleting and nothing.

Why on earth would you restrict it to 8 ports lol

Seems like you have screwed stuff in the process

Nvm, it’s a bug in AMP in terms of how it handles port allocation when child ports are involved

@IceOfWraith try to create a Path of Titans instance

Seems to be struggling when some ports are child ports and some are not, maybe specifically when the non-child port falls in the middle of child ports

Sorry, I should have stated I only changed the port range once the issue started… I have since changed the port range back and I can create other instances without issues. It seems to be specifically locked on this one application.

It was a troubleshooting step I saw in another post before reaching out on the forums.
