Palworld template update

Palworld has today received an update to add new settings to PalServerSettings.ini.

Given how both Palworld and AMP handle the ini, you must do the following for the update to be applied correctly and for your Palworld instance to continue running properly afterwards. These instructions assume your instance is running AMP version 2.5.0.4:

  1. Stop your instance.
  2. Right click on the instance, click Update AMP. Click “I have taken a backup” when prompted (even if you haven’t - it doesn’t matter).
  3. When finished, start and manage your instance.
  4. Click Update.

If your instance is configured to start the server when the instance is started, change that to “Do Nothing” before implementing the above steps.

If you are not running AMP 2.5.0.4 or later, you may need to do the following between step 1 and 2 above: Right click on the instance, click “Update AMP” and click “Skip Config Refresh”. Then do steps 2 to 4.
