Migrated server not loading established bases and player info

Problem Description

Issue

For 2 days both myself and a programmer friend have tried to get the server to load up with all of our established bases and such. while we’ve gotten the server to show the places we’ve already visited on the map, the game always makes us create new characters and start over. I have migrated all of the player files into the player folder so it should be reading properly. the ‘how-to’ does not cover this information, what am i doing wrong???

Reproduction Steps

  • created new instance and re-transfered files
  • updated server and tried to load again
  • stopped and restarted server
