Sorry for what feels like a foolish question, but I’m coming up short on an answer researching myself. What does the “enable multiplayer” toggle in the Palworld server settings do? I’m already able to play with my kid on the same server with it currently turned off (which is the default setting).
I thought it was the version of Palworld it started (local vs server) but rereading your post and seeing your kids can get on, I would “assume” (you know what that means) it allows non-LAN addresses to join, but I can’t confirm that.
I appreciate your input. Perhaps it’s an old toggle from pre 1.0 that now is deprecated. I can’t find any reference to it in the official Palworld server config options.
I appreciate you digging deeper into this. Seems like I may have been slightly correct in my thinking that it’s a deprecated setting. Though in this case it looks like maybe just a carry over setting from a single player local game that can have multiplayer turned on.
Either way, thank you for taking the time and researching more for me. I appreciate it.
