i purchased amp through paypal and i have not received my License code. i keep checking my email to no avail. i have tried to enter my email address in the website to “Log in” and it tells me the mail cannot be found. i dont really want to purchase a second time. i can send a screen shot for proof of payment in paypal if needed.
It would have gone to the primary email address for your PayPal account
ok hypothetically what would happen if i dont have access to that email account anymore? 
i did update it, but not until after i made the purchase.
the email shouldn’t even be a usable email, it was an old School email.

I emailed them last night and i still havent heard anything from them how long does a reply usually take?
