Same as the topic name, I have installed my AMP as Standalone with network license on my linux server, now i should switch to hybrid as i have to manage a second server. I have search in the FAQ, howto etc but found nothing.
It’s possible to switch now, without destroy/reinstall everything on the main system or without touching something that destroy my actual running system? Any guide avalaible to to this without destroy all?

Configuration->New Instance Defaults and click the Re-run Setup button.
You might need to run ampinstmgr repairauth afterwards if any errors popup.

do you confirm any instance stay on the installation, without losing nothing?
Yeah that’s the idea of it. If you switch it to Controller it wouldn’t have instances though.
I found this helpful as I was stuck on this also.
As of Aug 26, 2026, if you want to do this for the Windows side, do the following:
Configuration → Instance Deployment → Default Auth Server → Click Re-run Setup
Not sure if it’s needed, then then to be safe:
Configuration → Instance Deployment → License Key → Reactivate Local Instances
Then I restarted AMP processes. I can now see “Pair new target” under “Instances”
