Problem Description

Issue

Hello. I was wondering if there is a cap to how many mods the server can run? I decided to buy a server because the free one I was using originally ran out of space very quickly. It’s a pretty big mod pack that I’m using from Minecraft forge called All The Mods 9. It has 427 mods total but it seems that when I run the server and try to access it, its missing 136 mods and wont allow me in the server. When I look at the files in the server pack om my computer all of the files are present so I’m very confused.

Reproduction Steps

  • make new server. use all the mods 9 server pack from forge
  • make minecraft java server, change to forge 47.3.11
  • create a mods folder in file manager. add zip folder with atm9 mods inside
  • update and run server
  • load mc forge and access the games server

Make sure you’re using the server pack zip from the modpack’s page (under Additional Files after slecting a version).
The Client-only manifest zip won’t work, and the mods need to be inside the mods folder, not a zip of the mods, as that won’t be read by Forge.
